Today’s pressing topic — the development of consumer market of the region and support of local producers’ goods — was in the agenda of plenary session led by Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev via a video conference. The conference work was participated by Acting Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev.
— Over 7 months of 2016 regional budget received more than 20,4 billion roubles from enterprises of the consumer sphere , that is almost by 4 per cent more than of the same period of the past year. Retailment turnover amounted to 650,5 billion roubles. This indicator makes Krasnodar Region the fourth all around Russia after Moscow, Moscow Region and St. Petersburg, — Veniamin Kondratiev summed up.
The session was participated by Vice-Governors of Kuban, Chiefs of line-ministries and departments, Heads of cities and districts of the region.
Governor of Kuban emphasized that the shelves of local super- and hypermarkets to the maximum should be filled with goods of Kuban producers. Meanwhile, in federal stores networks bread and bakery products are being realized best of all: 83% of home-produced goods. Vegetable oil and dairy products of Kuban producers take 50%, fruits and vegetables – 65%, cereals and poultry are represented not sufficiently — 20% and 30% correspondingly. These indicators, according to Kuban Head, should be multiplied.
One of items of the session agenda was agricultural fairs. Chief of regional department of consumer sphere and alcohol market management Yuri Polyakov said that 796 trading venues including 478 venues of agricultural products had been created in the region. There are also 59 weekend fairs. Monthly 35,5 thousand residents of Kuban conduct trading at such fairs. Yuri Polyakov underlined that in comparison with the past year the number has increased by more than four thousand.
