A range of buildings along the main street of the capital of Kuban were provided with QR-codes through the implementation of federal program “Open city”.
— Krasnaya Street was selected to be the first because it is a central one and has high traffic flow. In prospect, plates with QR-codes will be installed at 1500 buildings – as in center on Krasnaya, Kuznechnaya, Dlinnaya, Gorkogo and Budennogo streets, so in other parts of the city. This is another step in the development of the city infrastructure which is directly related to technological development and comfort environment of Kuban capital citizens and guests in their daily life, — chief of the department of information and communication technologies Georgy Antoniadi said.
QR-code plates are installed at buildings through federal program “Open city”. Colour of each plate denotes a particular type of information. White –– “Information book” provides necessary information about city objects, enterprises or institutions which are within a radius of five quarters. Blue — “Transport” provides an information about transport accessibility, public transport time table at this area. Pink — “Interesting” shares interesting cases (sightseeing objects, culture and recreation facilities, historical spots and inquires) and yellow colour denotes “Navigation” that demonstrates an area map orientated to your position. You need only capture QR-code through your mobile phone or smart phone. Having captured this code, user connects to RFQR.ru — the web-site of the developers and main coordinators of the project “Open city” where user gets all necessary information.
After Anapa and Gelendzhik, Krasnodar has become the third city in Region where the program “Open city” is launched. In prospect the program will be participated by such Russian cities as Simferopol, Bryansk, Novorossiysk and Temryuk.
