Krasnodar regional branch of the Russian e-Sports Federation has received the status of accredited sports federation.
"In Krasnodar e-Sports is gaining popularity. More and more young people show interest, participate in individual and team competitions. E-Sports is not just an intellectual competition, but also it requires good reaction and creative thinking. The accreditation of the federation will certainly open additional opportunities and will become a new stage in the development of e-Sports in Krasnodar," said Chief of the department of youth Georgy Pronkin.
Krasnodar regional branch of the Russian e-Sports Federation (RESF) was officially established on February 12, 2018. Over the past year the regional center hosted more than 30 tournaments, including qualifier to the e-Sports Russian Cup, qualifier and zonal stage of the All-Russian e-Sports student's League, several city tournaments. The e-Sports regional branch is actively cooperates with administrations of Krasnodar Region and Krasnodar City.
Among the latest achievements of the Krasnodar players with the assistance of the regional branch of the Russian e-Sports Federation was the 3rd place in national e-Sports competitions among teams of universities of the country, which took place in Moscow on June 12-13.
