Krasnodar will take part in international tourist exhibitions in Moscow

Delegation of Krasnodar goes to Moscow where the main tourist events of the year will happen in the middle of March: IX International exhibition “Intourmarket (ITM) – 2014” (15-18 March) and XXI Moscow International exhibition “MITT/Travels and tourism” (19-22 March).

— Consisting of representatives of the city administration, hotel and tourist complex Krasnodar delegation will participate in two largest in Russia international exhibitions which make the top five tourist exhibitions in the world. Participation of our city representatives will contribute to the increase of tourist flow in Kuban capital, establishment of new business contacts as well as tour packages generation with due regard to current trends in development of world tourism, — one in the department of economic development, investments and external affairs commented.

By attracting hundreds of foreign tour operators and thousands of the Russian tourist business representatives these exhibitions determine the potential of inbound tourism and appear to be real show-window of tourist possibilities of Russia.

Exhibitions will be held with the assistance of Ministry for Culture of the Russian Federation, Federal Tourism Agency, committee on tourism and hotel industry of Moscow City, World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Russian Tour Operators Association (RTOA), Russian Union of Tourist Industry (RUTI) and Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation.    

Heavy business programs are expected within the framework of exhibitions. They will involve press-conferences, presentation of new tourism trends and services, seminars, workshop sessions and other events of interest.

This is not the first participation of Krasnodar in international tourist exhibitions. The recent year regional center presented 54 excursion tourist products at XX International exhibition “Travels and tourism” MITT 2013 with more than 100 agency agreements and 900 contracts with potential partners having signed.
