He started his career in 1986 at the collective farm «Rodina» in the village of Kazanskaya, Krasnodar Region. From 1987 to 1989 served in the Armed Forces, in the Anti-aircraft and missile forces.

From 1996 to 2003 he had been working as chief specialist and manager in financial and credit institutions of the region.

From June 2007 to March 2014 he had been working as Deputy General Director for Property and Corporate Affairs of «Krasnodarkraigaz»

From 2003 to 2007 and from March 2014 to present — individual entrepreneur.
