Dmitry V. Kolomiets

Dmitry v. Kolomiets was born on January 19, 1979 in the city of Krasnodar. He graduated from Krasnodar State University of Culture and Arts successfully got his degree in «Information Systems in Social and Cultural Sphere», at Kuban State University has a master’s degree with honours in «State and Municipal Management».

He began his career while studying at university as an expeditor at Agrokomplex firm, worked as assistant to the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from the KPRF faction in the Krasnodar Territory.

In 2003 he entered the municipal service in the administration of the city of Krasnodar. The same year he was awarded a letter of thanks of the head of Krasnodar and the chairman of the City Duma of Krasnodar for his success in implementing youth policy.

He continued his work in commercial enterprises as Deputy General Director of Krasnodar Autocentre Modus LLC, later Deputy General Director of BDM-Agro LLC and Deputy Director of RusAgroConcept LLC, as well as in the investment and construction company Peresvet-Region-Kuban LLC.

On June 3, 2015, the CEC of the Russian Federation decided to transfer the vacant mandate of the deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the sixth convocation to a registered candidate from the federal list of candidates nominated by the political party «Communist Party of the Russian Federation», D. v. Kolomiets.

On September 21, 2015, he early resigned as a member of the State Duma in connection with his election to the sixth Convocation of the Krasnodar City Duma.
From 2015 to 2020 he chaired the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism of the Krasnodar City Duma.

In September 2020 he was elected Deputy of the Krasnodar City Duma of the seventh convocation. Currently works as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Transport, Communications and Environment.

Since 1999 is a member of the political party «Communist Party of the Russian Federation». Member of the bureau of the Krasnodar regional branch of the CPRF, candidate for the CPRF Central Committee.

He is married, has three daughters.
