Nikolay A.Khropov

Nikolay A.Khropov was born on December 14, 1955 in Neman, Kaliningrad region.

Nikolay A.Khropov spent his childhood and youth in Labinsky District (Krasnodar region).

Education:

1978 — Zaporozhye Institute of Mechanical Engineering (mechanical engineer);

1997 — Russian Presidential Academy of Public Service (training course);

2005 — Krasnodar Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (lawyer).

1978–1986 — worked in various positions at Almaty Heavy Engineering Plant

1980–1982 — served in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

1986–2005 — was a member of the KGB-FSB of Russia. Colonel in the reserve of the FSB:

1995–1997 — worked in the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory (Deputy Chief of the Department, 1st Deputy Director General of the Department of Economic Security and Foreign Economic Relations);

1997–1999 — Head of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Krasnodar Territory;

1999–2005. — Deputy Chief of the Department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Krasnodar Region.

January 2006 — worked in the city administration of Krasnodar:

2006–2007 — chief of the department for cooperation with law enforcement authorities;

2007 — Head of the Administration of the Karasun district of Krasnodar

2011 — by decision of the Krasnodar City Duma was awarded the Commemorative Medal «For Merits»

Nikolay A.Khropov has state and departmental awards, was awarded the medal «For Outstanding Contribution to Development of Kuban» of I–II degrees, is a winner of the Yuri Andropov Prize in the field of security of the Russian Federation.

Marital status: married, has two daughters and two granddaughters.
